Groupees needs your help!

Hey guys,

I know there has been a lot of excitement on Groupees about all of the upcoming changes and it has been a lot of fun to grab some popcorn and watch everyone speculate about what’s to come in chat. I think I can speak for the rest of the team when I say we are just as excited for the future as you guys. However, that’s not why I’m writing to everyone today.

As many of our veteran users will remember, we had a server crash awhile back. Before anyone gets worried, precautions have been taken to ensure that does not happen again. Although we have been able to get a lot of the downloads back up, we still have work to do. I would like to ask for your help with this. I am looking for any users who have backed up their purchases dating back to the beginning of Groupees and could send us the files. If you have been buying bundles with us for a long time, have many of your purchased files saved on your computer, and would like to help, please email me at support@groupees.com. Hoping to hear from some of you guys soon!

See you in chat,

This post seems to be lacking the list of files that you’re still missing.

I’d like to see an update on this post, possibly with the list Detruire mentions which would certainly prove useful since most of us aren’t going to magically know what you have already or what you don’t have and we might so it makes the notion of helping out a bigger headache than it should be.

    Still no movement on this?

You guys seem to have no problem churning out bundle after bundle but getting broken (or altogether MISSING) downloads for what we’ve paid you for up and running seems to be a progress roadblock? I realize Eric is no longer on staff (though why or whether he’s even alive at all is subject to speculation and debate) but you’ve got other people doing little more than posting updates onto your Steam group that could be coordinating efforts to fix some of this stuff. Hell, pitching it to the community at large would make such an undertaking painless.

It’s getting really hard to remain optimistic in the face of the steep structural decline Groupees as a whole has seen within the last half-year/year. Maybe consider putting a halt on the bundle wagon for a month or two and getting things in order before it rolls on again.
