April 2015 Dev Update

My apologies for the gap in providing some updates on the development side of Groupees. Ideally, I would like to do this every other month so I will do my best to keep to that cycle.

As I’m sure most of you can imagine, there’s lots of work that’s done behind the scenes and beneath the surface. Lot of non-glamorous but necessary stuff to keep things running well and make the experience generally a positive one on Groupees. Changes in APIs, new payment methods, bug fixes and the like keep our small team very busy.

New Ranks, New Powers

As you well know, members achieve ranks or status levels that appear on their profile. “No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. If a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friend’s or of thine own were: any man’s death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind, and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.”
